Notice of animal and animal holder data for registration at ANIS
The veterinary office where the microchip has been implanted is responsible for the notice for registration at ANIS.
ANIS is charging the registration fee to the veterinary office.
The data of animals that have been marked abroad (with microchip or tattoo) are announced for registration at ANIS generally (for dogs compulsory) by the veterinary office, too. In this case, the registration fee will also be charged to the veterinary office.
For the registration of dogs imported from abroad, the Eidg. Verordnung über die Einfuhr von Heimtieren EHtV (art. 13) is applicable.
Once the registration is completed, the animal holder will automatically receive a confirmation of registration (sticker for the pet passport as well as the Pet-Card) from ANIS.
For all pets registered at an earlier date, the confirmation of registration can be ordered at ANIS. Form to info@anis.ch.
